6. When coming out from the toilet, step out with the right foot first and then recite this dua:

غُفْرَانَكَ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ اَذۡهَبَ عَنِّي الْاَذٰى وَعَافَانِي

Trans: O Allah! I seek forgiveness from you. All praise is due to Allah who removed from me
that which was harmful and granted me safety.

7. Before entering the toilet, remove any ring etc, upon which any Aayat or the name of Rasululla H is visible (Nasai). If a Ta’weez is covered with a cloth and sewn, it will be permissible to enter the toilet while wearing it

8. When relieving oneself do not face the Qibla nor turn the back towards it. (Mishkaat , Tirmidhi ,
Ibne Majah)
9. When relieving oneself, do not speak except out of absolute necessity. Also, do not engage in
any Zikr whilst in the toilet. (Mishkaat, Abu Dawood ‐ pg. 3)
10. Be extremely careful and ensure that droplets of urine and stool do not splash upon one as most
of the punishment of the grave is due to not protecting oneself from urine splashes. (Bukhari, Ibne Maajah)
11. Do not touch the private parts with the right hand during istinjaa. Use the left hand for this
purpose. (Bukhari, Abu Dawood)
12. Where a toilet is not available, relieve oneself behind some barrier so that one is not exposed to
others. (Abu Dawood, Ibne Majah)
13. Search for soft ground (when relieving oneself in the open) so that the urine does not splash but
is rather absorbed into the ground. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood)
14. Sit and urinate. Do not urinate while standing. (Tirmidhi)
15. After urinating, if one needs to dry himself he should do so behind some barrier (i.e. wall etc.) (Bihishti Zewar)
16. Perform Wudhu according to the Sunnat at home.

17. Perform the Sunnats at home before going to the Masjid. If there is no time for this, the same could be performed in the Masjid.
Note: In today’s times, due to Sunnats being neglected, it is preferable to perform them in the
Masjid.(Kamaalate Ashrafiya)

Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia By: Arif Billah Hazrat‐e‐Aqdas Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahab (damat barkatuhum)

Trans: “Allah is sufficient for me. There is no one worthy of worship besides Him. Upon Him have I placed my trust and He is the’ Sustainer (Lord) of the Mighty Throne.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (radhiyallhu anhu) that Rasulullah said; Whoever recites the above dua seven times in morning and evening, Allah will suffice for him and free him of all worries in both this world and the hereafter. (Ruhul Ma’aani, Vol.11, pg.53)
By reciting this small verse, why does Allah Ta’ala become sufficient for all the worries of both worlds? In this dua the words; وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْم appears “And he is the owner of the Mighty Throne.” and the Lord of the Mighty Throne is the Controller of the entire universe. When one has come into. the Protection of the Lord of the Mighty Throne, then how can one have any worries?

Hazrat Khawjah Aziz-ul-Hasan Majzoob Saheb (rahmatullahi alayh)says:

If You(O Allah) are mine, then everything is mine, The Heavens are mine, The Earth is mine. And if You (O Allah) alone ‘are not mine, Then nothing is mine.

Ibne Najaar has mentioned a narration of Hazrat Hussain (radhiyallahu anahu)in his book on history that whoever reads seven times.....حَسْبِيَ اللّهُٰ لَآ اِلٰهَ in the morning and evening, he will not have any restlessness, trouble and nor will he die due to drowning. (Ruhul ma’aani, Vol. 11, pg. 53)

Hazrat Muhammad Ibn ka’b (radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that once a group of Sahabah (radhiyallahu anahum) were on their way to Rome when one of them fell from his horse and broke his leg. The Sahabah (radhiyallahu anahum) could not carry him, so they tied his horse and left some provision for him and proceeded on with their journey. An unseen voice asked,”What happened” He replied, “ My thigh is broken and my companions have left me”. The voice instructed him to read:

فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِیَ اللہُ ۫٭ۖ َلآاِلٰہَ  اِلَّاہُوَ

Thus by placing his hand on the affected area and reading the verse he was immediately cured and very soon he joined his companions. (Ruhul Ma’aani, Vol. 11, pg. 54).

“ This verse حَسْبِيَ اللّهُٰ لَآ اِلٰهَ has been in practice of this humble servant for many years.I thank Allah Ta’ala for this great bounty and I beseech Allah Ta’ala through the blessing of this verse to be righteous and Allah Ta’ala is the Granter of righteousness.
Note: After this practice make dua to Allah Ta’ala that through the glad-tidings of Nabi H and through the intercession of this honourable verse that You suffice for our worries in this world and hereafter.

Advice

It does not befit man to be unmindful of Allah
in the world.

The remembrance of death should be on his mind
at every moment.

Anyone who comes to this world, then death

says to him,

I am also following you, so be aware!

Reformation of character

By: Arif Billah HazrateAqdas Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahab (Rahmatul Allaahi Alayh)

Hazrath Moulana Shah Hakeem Akhtar Saheb (RA) explains the need of a Muzakki who will make one’s tazkiyah and tarbiyat (nurturing and reformation). No person can reform himself. There is an extreme necessity for a spiritual guide. As long as man does not possess the knowledge of praiseworthy character (Akhlaaq-e-Hameedah) and evil character (Akhlaaq-e-Razilah), he will not be able to recognize good and evil; but in fact, will regard evil to be good and good to be evil. Similarly, some people go to the saintly ones, but they do not acquire recognition of evil characteristics and the sickness of the heart from them. So, unfortunately, years pass in their company, yet they remain unmindful and unconcerned about their own reformation.
